CREATIVE ARTS

This program is a platform to expose youth to creativity and fine art.  We teach and expose youth to a variety of arts and crafts that encourages them to master their individual artistic/creative skills as well as preserving cultural artistic forms.  FLI creative Arts empowers artistic youth, shapes their imaginations, encourages creativity and preserves cultural art forms.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

ACT FLI is leadership training using the Arts Culture and Technology.  ACT FLI currently hosts sessions where we cultivate young minds, build confidence, set future goals, provide life coaching, exposing youth to different art forms, educating using technology and empowering them with a love and respect for their culture.  We are determined to educate, expose and empower the next generation of leaders.

TECHNOLOGY TRAINING

FLI technology training program equips young people with valuable skills in technology-focused initiatives. By offering hands-on workshops, coding classes, and tech-driven projects, the program empowers youth to develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and digital literacy. These opportunities prepare them for future careers in technology and innovation, fostering creativity and closing the digital skills gap in underserved communities.

FILM & THEATER TRAINING

FLI film and theater training program provides young people with a creative outlet to express themselves while developing valuable skills in storytelling, acting, production, and stagecraft. Through hands-on workshops and live performances, participants build confidence, teamwork, communication skills, while nurturing artistic talent, fosters self-discipline and empowering youth to share their unique voices, preparing them for future opportunities in the arts and beyond.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Our after school programs are school or community-based programs that offer academic and enrichment activities that focus on Math and STEM.  These programs serve children of all ages 7 - 17 and include academic support, workforce development opportunities, mentoring relationships, and more.

STUDY ABOARD PROGRAM

Your youth organization's Study Abroad program connects African students with educational opportunities at partner schools in Europe and the United States. Through these partnerships, students gain access to world-class academic resources, cross-cultural experiences, and diverse perspectives that enrich their personal and professional development. This program empowers students to pursue their dreams, build global networks, and return with the knowledge and skills to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

CULTRAL IMMERISION

FLI cultural immersion program bridges continents by providing meaningful exchange opportunities for those abroad who want to explore Africa and for African students to experience the western world. Participants engage in cultural activities, break language barriers, and engage in community projects that foster mutual understanding and appreciation. This program not only deepens global connections but also empowers youth with a broader worldview, equipping them to navigate diverse environments and become cultural ambassadors in their communities.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Most of our efforts pertaining to outreach programs involve partnerships in the community that allow us to apply new approaches to develop programs that empower.

​WORKSHOPS AND CAMPS

Day and Overnight camps and workshops, uses the arts (theatre, film, music and dance) culture (humanitarian projects for Africa and cultural preservation) and technology (computer skills, business technology) to promote a sense of hope in the future while creating strong leaders who are advocates of peace and global unity. We bring together youth from different places and spaces to learn how to work together while learning to lead.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Through partnerships we provide scholarships for underserved youth and families. Supplying school fees books uniforms and basic necessities we also help families struggling to help their children achieve their educational goals.  

​FEEDING PROGRAM

FLI currently provides thousands of meals yearly to school children along with clothing and groceries to needy families in the community we serve. We also provide food packages and supplements to the families of the youth who work with our programs.
